Wellbeing Daily is a psychosocial risk and workplace wellbeing consultancy. We work with organisations in maritime, mining, oil and gas, construction and manufacturing, where fatigue, work design and sustained pressure decide whether people get hurt.
Most wellbeing programmes treat the individual. We treat the system. Cognitive overload, poor work design and fatigue raise the odds of error long before anyone does anything visibly unsafe, so that is where we intervene.
Our work runs on three diagnostics. The Individual Wellbeing Assessment gives you the worker's view. The Six Drivers Organisational Diagnostic gives you the system view. The Psychosocial Risk Assessment, built clause by clause against ISO 45003, gives you the board's view. Each stands alone, or they layer into one auditable picture of human risk.
We see ourselves as enablers. Our job is to build internal capability and support your leaders, not to make you dependent on an external provider.
Ian Collins is the Founder and Managing Director of Wellbeing Daily, a global psychosocial risk and wellbeing consultancy helping organisations in high-risk, safety-critical environments improve safety, performance, and reliability by addressing the human factors that drive fatigue, error, and variability under pressure.
With over two decades of experience working across corporate, maritime, and industrial settings, Ian specialises in the intersection of wellbeing, human performance, and operational risk. His work focuses on helping organisations move beyond reactive wellbeing initiatives and toward system-level approaches that strengthen decision-making, leadership behaviours, and safety culture.
Ian is the creator of Wellbeing Daily’s BALANCED Program and the architect of their Six Drivers of Wellbeing framework, which translates wellbeing science into practical strategies for reducing human error and improving performance in complex environments.
He is also the author of the upcoming book, The Wellbeing Imperative: How Thriving People Drive High Performance, which explores how fatigue, work design, leadership and culture shape outcomes in safety-critical industries.
Known for his calm, evidence-based approach, Ian works closely with senior leaders, operations, safety and HR teams to embed wellbeing into strategy, systems and everyday practice, enabling organisations to build safer, more resilient and more sustainable performance.
