About Event

This booking is for one 90-minute acupuncture treatment in my Hitchin clinic.

If you are looking for fertility or menstrual-cycle acupuncture in Hitchin, I offer clinic-based treatments from Lidder Therapies in Little Wymondley, just outside Hitchin, with easy access and free parking.

What's included:

  1. A 45-minute consultation that will discuss both parties' health
  2. An acupuncture treatment
  3. A written Fertility Action Plan based on the five principles I use in my practice:
    1. Lifestyle (includes sleep, movement, diet, supplements, mental health, and household)
    2. Trauma/blockages
    3. Blood markers
    4. Menstrual cycle/semen
    5. Vaginal/seminal microbiome
  4. One supportive check-in message after a week

Before your appointment

  • Complete the health form and terms and conditions of booking.
  • We will discuss sperm in your initial consultation (here are some of the points I am interested in, if you want to get any answers beforehand).
  • Please share any test results, e.g. blood tests, sperm analysis, ultrasound scans, already received before your appointment, so that I can review them

These must be completed at least 48 hours before your appointment.

My prices are £115 for 90 minutes. Alternatively, my packages start at:

  • £243 for 3 treatments (1x 90 minutes and 2x 60 minutes) which saves £26 vs individual prices.
  • If you block book 6 treatments (1x 90 minutes and 5x 60 minutes), this saves you £100 (vs individual prices), and this costs £400.

To ensure efficient scheduling, I reserve the right to adjust your booking time by 30-60 minutes. By confirming your slot, you acknowledge this potential adjustment. For enquiries, please contact [email protected].

  • About Andrea

I’m Andrea, an acupuncturist specialising in fertility and menstrual health, in Hitchin and across Hertfordshire and Central Bedfordshire.

I support couples with IVF, unexplained infertility and cycle regulation, as well as menstrual health concerns, including PCOS, endometriosis, PMDD and perimenopause.

My work combines acupuncture with detailed cycle analysis and evidence-based lifestyle support. I’m passionate about helping people feel less overwhelmed by fertility information online and more confident in what actually matters for their body. I often describe my approach as structured and “detective-style” looking at patterns, symptoms and cycle signs to create a personalised plan that feels practical and doable.

I first came across acupuncture in 2016 when my GP recommended it during a period of depression, which was later diagnosed as Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD). That experience had a huge impact on me and shaped the way I now practise: with care, advocacy, and a deep respect for how complex reproductive health can be.

I offer a calm and supportive space where patients feel listened to, informed and guided, whether they are trying to conceive, preparing for IVF, or simply wanting to feel more at home in their cycle again.

  • C Marston

Would highly recommend using Andrea if trying to get pregnant, with her assistance during my IVF cycle, combined with PCOS struggles she helped me finally get a positive pregnancy test in Oct 2025 after a 4 year struggle. She's incredibly warm, friendly and professional. A great experience!
