At Keānuenue Pediatrics, we believe great care starts with strong relationships. We’re a small, private practice focused on caring for children and supporting families from the very beginning. Our approach combines up-to-date medical care with a personal, thoughtful touch so you feel known, heard, and supported as you navigate parenthood. We take the time to listen, explain things clearly, and partner with you in your child’s health and development. Whether you’re expecting your first baby or looking for a more connected, consistent medical home, we’re here to support your family every step of the way.

Our new patient consultation is a simple virtual visit to help you get a feel for our practice and decide if we’re the right fit for your family. During the visit, we’ll:<ul class="prose-ul list-disc ml-8"><li value="1">Get to know you and what matters most to your family</li><li value="2">Talk through your child’s health history—or what to expect if you’re expecting</li><li value="3">Explain how our practice works, including visits, communication, and access</li><li value="4">Answer your questions about sleep, feeding, development, vaccines, and anything else on your mind</li><li value="5">Help you understand what the first year (and beyond) can look like with us as your trusted guide</li></ul> Our goal is to give you the clarity you need to make a confident decision about your child’s care.

Who is this visit for? This visit is a good fit for expecting parents, families new to the area, or anyone thinking about joining our practice. When should I schedule this? Most expecting parents schedule during the third trimester, but you’re welcome to book anytime that works for you. How long is the visit? Visits are about 15 minutes—short and focused, but with enough time to connect and answer your main questions. Do I need to prepare anything? No preparation needed. You’re welcome to come with questions, or just show up and we’ll guide the conversation. Do you accept insurance? We accept most insurance plans. If you have specific questions about coverage or billing, our team is happy to help. Is this visit in person or virtual? This is a virtual visit, so you can join from wherever is easiest for you. What happens after the consultation? If it feels like a good fit, we’ll walk you through the next steps to join the practice and get your child scheduled.

Great doctors and wonderful nurses! From day one all the staff have been so welcoming. Every mom’s mission is ensure their baby is safe and getting the care that they need. Keanueanue Pediatrics is the place to be for all needs! I ask a lot of questions in on the app and in the appointments but they’ve all been answered with well thought out answers. Dr. Ken Stridiron

****Meet Dr. Stridiron!**** In addition to being a parent of two, I am a developmentally trained primary care pediatrician, board-certified in general pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics. I attended medical school at the University of Hawaiʻi John A. Burns School of Medicine and completed my pediatric residency at the University of California Davis. I then pursued an additional year of training at the UC Davis MIND Institute in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, gaining focused experience in early childhood development, neurodevelopmental differences such as autism and ADHD, and parent coaching. I was also fortunate to complete the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) fellowship. 

I strive to keep up to date with evidence-based medicine, while also learning from you—the families I serve. My goal is to build lasting, collaborative relationships to support raising happy, healthy keiki. My clinical interests include early childhood development, neurodiversity, and medical education—particularly inspiring and mentoring the next generation of healthcare providers. 

Outside of the clinic, you can find me chasing my kids at the beach, sampling my way through Costco, or trying new recipes in the kitchen. I look forward to providing you with compassionate, family-centered pediatric care.
