I’m NGAH Rita Arlette, a finance and audit professional-in-training based in Yaoundé, Centre Region, Cameroon. I’m currently a Master 2 student in Audit et Contrôle de Gestion at the Université Catholique d’Afrique Centrale, building advanced skills in internal control, audit approaches, and performance monitoring. Before that, I completed a Master 1 in Audit et Contrôle de Gestion (2021–2022) and earned a Licence Professionnelle en Comptabilité et Finance. I also present a background consistent with a BTS in accounting and enterprise management, which reflects a strong, practice-oriented foundation.

Professionally, I’ve strengthened my experience through internships that directly connect theory to operational reality. I worked as a Stagiaire audit interne at BEAC (Sept–Dec 2022), where I learned the discipline of internal audit, documentation, and control-minded thinking in a high-standard environment. More recently, I served as a Comptable stagiaire at Afrique future deo gracias (Sept–Dec 2023), supporting accounting tasks and reinforcing the habits that matter in finance: rigor, reconciliation, and reliable follow-up.

My focus is at the intersection of accounting, internal audit, and financial control—where good data, strong controls, and clear reporting protect organizations and improve decision-making. I’m naturally detail-oriented, but I also care about the “why” behind numbers: understanding processes, identifying risk points, and proposing improvements that are realistic for teams to adopt.

When I’m not studying or working, I like unwinding in Yaoundé by exploring new spots around the city and enjoying a calm evening pace after a busy day.
