If your purpose is not aligned to one of the programs and still need to discuss a topic with me (Ash) then this is the one for you.
Complexity is the enemy of scale. At Pragmatic People, we don't just consult—we untangle. We help 7- and 8-figure leaders bridge the gap between functional success and scalable excellence.
Depending on your operational maturity and immediate bottlenecks, there are four ways we can architect your exit from the daily firefight:
- You are hitting a growth wall and want a root-cause diagnosis: Apply for the "Making the Complex Simple" Diagnostic. I am selecting 10 founders to feature as case studies in my upcoming book. You bring the operational friction; I bring the Army-grade diagnostic precision to map your leverage points.
- You need a tactical sprint to fix a specific bottleneck: Book an Accelerator Scoping Session. This is for businesses ready to strip away friction and rebuild their People, Systems, or Tech architecture through a targeted, high-leverage sprint.
- You are a CEO who needs to replace yourself in daily operations:
Schedule an Apprenticeship: Executive Sponsor Review. If you are tired of being the chief problem solver, nominate your top operator. We will rewire them into a "Mini-Founder" who runs your operations and permanently buys back your time. - You want to amplify the message:
Choose the Podcast & Partnership Alignment track for media inquiries, joint ventures, and speaking engagements centred around systems thinking and scaling.
Stop firefighting. Select your intervention on the left and let's start architecting.
I began my own career as an Army apprentice. It taught me that real capability is built through meaningful work, practical guidance, feedback and increasing responsibility—not theory alone.
That is the model behind the Business Apprenticeship. A trusted team member learns through live business challenges, while the sponsor provides the context, access and decision boundaries that help learning become useful action.
The result is a more capable, trusted operator and less unnecessary dependency on the founder.
Capability grows when people can apply knowledge to real work, receive useful feedback and take on greater responsibility over time.
I am Ash Holliday—a former Army technician turned Simplification Architect.
For over 30 years, across global enterprises, government bodies, and high-growth SMEs, I’ve specialised in one thing: finding the root cause of complex failures and engineering scalable solutions.
Today, as the Founder of Pragmatic People and an MBA instructor of Systems Thinking at the Adelaide University, I help 7- and 8-figure founders untangle their operations. Making the Complex Simple is my tactical manual for leaders who want to stop firefighting, align their strategy, and scale without sacrificing their culture or their sanity.
When I’m not architecting scale for clients, I’m based in Europe, studying the physical architecture of its historical cities—usually with a coffee in hand by the canals.
