3-Hour Brainspotting Intensive Session

  • 180m
$600.00

Deep Trauma Processing & Nervous System Healing

Transform Your Relationship with Trauma in a Single Session

Experience the power of focused, intensive Brainspotting work designed to process specific trauma, release stored tension, and create lasting nervous system regulation. Our 3-hour Brainspotting intensive offers the depth and time needed for significant healing that often requires multiple traditional therapy sessions to achieve.

What is Brainspotting?

Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional and physical pain, trauma, and dissociation. This innovative approach accesses the brain's natural healing capacity through specific eye positions that correspond to neural networks holding traumatic memories and activation.

The Science Behind Brainspotting:

  • Targets the deep brain where trauma is stored, below conscious awareness
  • Uses the visual field to access and process traumatic material
  • Engages the brain's natural healing capacity through focused mindfulness
  • Regulates the nervous system by processing activation at its source
  • Integrates mind and body for comprehensive healing

What Makes a 3-Hour Intensive Unique?

Extended Processing Time

Unlike traditional 50-minute sessions, the 3-hour format allows for:

  • Complete processing cycles without interruption
  • Deep nervous system regulation that takes time to achieve
  • Multiple Brainspots to be explored in a single session
  • Full integration of insights and somatic releases
  • Natural rhythm of your healing process without time constraints

Focused Trauma Resolution

This intensive format is specifically designed for:

  • Specific traumatic incidents that need concentrated attention
  • Somatic symptoms connected to particular experiences
  • Anxiety or triggers related to identifiable events
  • Stuck patterns that haven't responded to traditional therapy
  • Preparation for major life transitions or challenges

Who Benefits from 3-Hour Brainspotting Intensives?

Healing Justice for Organizations

  • 240m
  • 300m
  • +2 more

What is Healing Justice?

Healing Justice is a framework that recognizes the interconnection between individual healing and social transformation. It acknowledges that trauma—both personal and systemic—impacts our communities and workplaces, and that healing must happen at both individual and collective levels to create sustainable change.

Core Principles of Healing Justice:

  • Collective care over individual self-care - Building systems that support everyone's wellbeing
  • Centering marginalized voices - Prioritizing the wisdom and needs of those most impacted by oppression
  • Addressing root causes - Going beyond symptom management to systemic transformation
  • Cultural responsiveness - Honoring diverse healing traditions and ways of knowing
  • Sustainable activism - Preventing burnout while sustaining social justice work
  • Holistic approaches - Integrating mind, body, spirit, and community in healing work

Why Your Organization Needs Healing Justice Training

Beyond Traditional Wellness Programs

Most workplace wellness initiatives focus on individual resilience without addressing the systemic factors that create stress, trauma, and inequity. Healing Justice training provides:

  • Systemic perspective on workplace trauma and stress
  • Cultural humility approaches to supporting diverse staff
  • Trauma-informed policies that prevent re-traumatization
  • Community care practices that build collective resilience
  • Leadership development rooted in justice and healing principles

Addressing Workplace Trauma

Organizations often unknowingly perpetuate trauma through:

  • Microaggressions and discrimination based on identity
  • Unrealistic productivity demands that ignore human limitations
  • Lack of psychological safety for authentic expression
  • Inadequate response to crisis and community trauma
  • Hierarchical structures that concentrate power and silence voices

Our training helps organizations recognize these patterns and implement healing-centered alternatives.

Customization for Your Organization

Pre-Training Assessment

We conduct a comprehensive organizational assessment to tailor the training to your specific:

  • Organizational culture and current practices
  • Staff demographics and community served
  • Existing challenges and areas for growth
  • Leadership commitment and change readiness
  • Resource availability and implementation capacity

Training Investment

Pricing is determined based on organizational needs including:

  • Organization size and number of participants
  • Training format (in-person, virtual, or hybrid)
  • Customization level and industry-specific adaptations
  • Geographic location and travel requirements
  • Follow-up support and consultation needs
  • Organizational capacity and sliding scale considerations

Factors Influencing Investment:

  • Participant count: 10-15 participants (optimal), up to 30 participants maximum
  • Organizational budget: We offer sliding scale options for nonprofits and community organizations
  • Training location: Local (Central Valley) vs. requiring travel
  • Customization depth: Standard curriculum vs. extensive organizational assessment and adaptation
  • Additional services: Follow-up consultation, policy review, or ongoing support

Ready to Transform Your Organization?

Healing Justice training offers more than professional development—it provides a pathway to organizational transformation that centers healing, equity, and community care. If your organization is ready to move beyond surface-level diversity initiatives toward deep, sustainable culture change, we're here to guide that journey.

Next Steps:

  1. Schedule a consultation to discuss your organizational needs and goals
  2. Complete organizational assessment to customize training content
  3. Receive customized proposal with pricing and logistics details
  4. Plan implementation strategy for post-training organizational change
  5. Schedule your training and begin your healing justice transformation

Reclaim Your Body's Wisdom Through Gentle, Trauma-Sensitive Movement

  • 75m
$175.00

Healing in Your Body, Safety in Your Space

The Body Disconnection

Feeling unsafe or disconnected in their own body due to trauma

Chronic tension, pain, or illness from carrying stress somatically

Lost sense of pleasure, joy, or sensuality in their physical experience

Shame or negative relationship with their body from cultural messaging

Join Kelly Baker, LMFT, Certified Trauma-Informed Yoga Instructor (200 RYT), and Brainspotting practitioner, for a transformative 75-minute virtual experience that combines trauma-informed yoga with the powerful healing potential of Brainspotting. This unique integration is designed specifically for trauma survivors and those seeking to heal their relationship with their body through both movement and targeted nervous system healing.

This isn't traditional yoga—it's a carefully crafted practice that honors your nervous system, respects your boundaries, and empowers you to reconnect with your body's natural capacity for healing and joy through the synergy of mindful movement and Brainspotting's trauma-processing capabilities.

What is Trauma-Informed Yoga with Brainspotting Integration?

This innovative approach combines two powerful somatic healing modalities:

Trauma-Informed Yoga (TIY) is a specialized approach that recognizes how trauma lives in the body and adapts traditional yoga practices to support healing rather than re-traumatization. This practice emphasizes choice, empowerment, and nervous system regulation while honoring the unique ways trauma impacts each individual's relationship with their body.

Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional and physical pain through specific eye positions that correspond to neural networks holding traumatic memories.

The Integration allows for real-time trauma processing that may arise during mindful movement, creating opportunities for deeper release and integration than either modality alone could provide.

Key Principles of Our Practice:

  • Choice and empowerment - You decide what feels right for your body
  • Present-moment awareness - Gentle focus on what's happening now
  • Non-violent approach - No pushing, forcing, or "powering through"
  • Nervous system support - Movements that calm and regulate your system
  • Cultural responsiveness - Honoring diverse bodies and healing traditions
  • Somatic intelligence - Trusting your body's wisdom and signals

Are You Trapped in the Superwoman Complex™?

The Exhausting Reality You're Living Right Now

You wake up already behind. The mental load starts before your feet hit the floor—everyone else's needs, schedules, and problems flooding your mind while your own desires remain buried under the avalanche of "shoulds."

You're the one everyone counts on. The fixer. The organizer. The one who remembers birthdays, manages the household, excels at work, and somehow still finds time to volunteer because "someone has to do it."

But inside, you're drowning.

You can't remember the last time you did something purely for yourself without guilt creeping in

You say yes when you mean no, then resent everyone for taking advantage—including yourself for not speaking up

You lie awake at night mentally rehearsing tomorrow's responsibilities while your exhausted body craves rest

You snap at the people you love most because your capacity cup has been empty for months, maybe years

You feel guilty for wanting more from life when you "should be grateful" for everything you have

You wonder if this is all there is—this endless cycle of giving until there's nothing left

The worst part? You know you're doing this to yourself, but you don't know how to stop without everything falling apart.

What If You Could Wake Up Differently?

Imagine Your Future Self Six Weeks From Now...

She wakes up refreshed because she's learned to set boundaries around her time and energy without the crushing guilt that used to follow.

She says "no" with grace and confidence, knowing that protecting her energy isn't selfish—it's essential for showing up as her best self for the people and causes she truly cares about.

She has rediscovered what brings her joy and makes time for it regularly, not as a reward for being "good enough," but because she understands her happiness matters too.

She's stopped apologizing for having needs and has learned to ask for help without feeling like she's imposing or admitting failure.

She sleeps peacefully because she's released the need to control everything and everyone around her.

She's present with her family instead of distracted by the never-ending mental to-do list, because she's learned the difference between being busy and being fulfilled.

She leads with authenticity at work and in her community, no longer performing perfection but modeling what it looks like to be genuinely powerful.

She trusts herself to make decisions that honor her values and well-being, even when others don't understand or approve.

She's become the woman her younger self dreamed of being—not perfect, but authentic. Not invulnerable, but genuinely strong. Not endlessly giving, but wisely generous.

The Healing the Superwoman Complex™ Workshop Series Will Transform:

From Exhaustion → To Sustainable Energy

Learn to manage your energy, not just your time, so you can show up fully for what matters most without burning out.

From People-Pleasing → To Authentic Boundaries

Discover how to say no with love and set limits that protect your well-being without destroying your relationships.

From Perfectionism → To Good Enough Excellence

Release the impossible standards that keep you trapped and embrace the freedom of "good enough" in most areas so you can excel where it truly counts.

From Guilt → To Self-Compassion

Transform your inner critic from a harsh taskmaster into a supportive guide who honors your humanity and imperfection.

From Control → To Trust

Let go of the exhausting need to manage everyone and everything around you and learn to trust in your resilience and others' capability.

From Surviving → To Thriving

Move beyond just getting through each day to creating a life that genuinely reflects your values, dreams, and authentic self.

You Deserve More Than Just Getting By

You weren't born to be everyone's everything. You weren't meant to shrink your dreams to make room for everyone else's comfort. You aren't supposed to apologize for taking up space or having needs.

You were meant to shine brightly, to live with purpose and joy, to model for the women and girls in your life what it looks like to honor yourself while contributing meaningfully to the world.

The Superwoman Complex isn't serving you—it's stealing from you. Your peace. Your joy. Your authentic relationships. Your dreams. Your health. Your life.

Don't Let Fear Make This Decision

Your inner Superwoman is probably already listing all the reasons this isn't the right time:

"I don't have time..." — You don't have time NOT to heal this pattern that's stealing your life
"I can't afford it..." — Can you afford another year of exhaustion and resentment?
"What if people need me..." — They need the authentic, boundaried, joyful you more than the depleted, resentful version
"I should be able to fix this myself..." — Even Superwomen need support. Especially Superwomen.

The women who invest in healing their Superwoman Complex don't regret it. The women who wait another year to address it always do.

Your enough-ness isn't something you earn through endless giving. It's something you already are.

Choose her. Choose you. Choose now.

Are You Trapped in the People-Pleasing Prison?

The Suffocating Reality You Know Too Well

It happens again. Someone asks for a favor and before you can even think, "Yes, of course!" tumbles out of your mouth. Your stomach drops as you realize you've just committed to something that will stress you out, take time you don't have, and leave you feeling resentful—again.

You're drowning in other people's needs while your own dreams sit on the back burner, collecting dust.

Every text message makes your heart race. Is someone upset with you? Did you disappoint them? Should you have said yes when you said you'd "think about it"? The mental gymnastics are exhausting.

You rehearse conversations for hours, crafting elaborate explanations for why you can't do something, building a case as if you're on trial for the crime of having limits.

You say "I'm sorry" more than your own name. Sorry for having an opinion. Sorry for taking up space. Sorry for existing in a way that might inconvenience someone else.

The crushing anxiety hits every time:

  • Someone sounds slightly annoyed with you
  • You have to decline an invitation or request
  • There's any hint of conflict or tension
  • You're asked to make a decision that might affect others
  • You consider putting your own needs first

The worst part? You KNOW you're doing this to yourself. You can see the resentment building, feel the exhaustion growing, watch your authentic self disappearing—but the fear of being seen as selfish, difficult, or mean keeps you paralyzed in the same destructive patterns.

You've become a stranger to yourself, so focused on being who everyone else needs you to be that you've forgotten who you actually are.

What If You Could Walk Into Tomorrow Differently?

Imagine Your Future Self Just One Day After This Intensive...

She receives a request that doesn't align with her values or capacity. Without panic, without elaborate justifications, without crushing guilt—she simply says, "That won't work for me, but thank you for thinking of me." And then she moves on with her day.

When conflict arises, she doesn't crumble or frantically try to fix everyone's feelings. She stays grounded in her own center, speaking her truth with kindness but without apology for having a different perspective.

She makes decisions quickly and confidently because she's connected to her own inner wisdom instead of constantly polling everyone else's opinions and trying to predict their reactions.

She's stopped carrying the weight of everyone's emotions. Other people's disappointment, frustration, or upset belongs to them—not her to fix or prevent.

She's discovered that boundaries aren't walls—they're bridges to more authentic, respectful relationships where people actually know and appreciate the real her.

She sleeps peacefully because she's no longer replaying conversations, worrying about who she might have disappointed, or mentally rehearsing tomorrow's potential confrontations.

She's become magnetic in a new way—not because she says yes to everything, but because her yes means something. Her presence is genuine, her energy is protected, and people feel safer around her authentic self than they ever did around her people-pleasing persona.

She's finally free from the exhausting prison of other people's approval and has discovered the unshakeable foundation of self-respect.

One Intensive Day Will Transform:

From Guilt-Ridden "Yes" → To Confident Choice

Learn to pause, check in with yourself, and respond from your authentic desires rather than fear-based reactivity.

From Fear of Conflict → To Healthy Assertiveness

Discover that disagreement doesn't equal rejection and that you can handle other people's disappointment without it destroying you.

From Elaborate Justifications → To Simple, Clear Communication

Practice saying "no" without building a case, defending your decision, or over-explaining your choices.

From Carrying Everyone's Emotions → To Healthy Detachment

Understand where your responsibility ends and other people's begins, freeing you from the exhausting role of emotional manager.

From Paralysis → To Decisive Action

Connect with your inner wisdom and values so you can make decisions quickly without endless rumination about potential consequences.

From Resentment → To Self-Respect

Transform the anger and bitterness that builds from chronic self-abandonment into genuine care and protection for your own well-being.

This Isn't About Becoming Mean—It's About Becoming Real

You weren't born to be everyone's emotional support system. You weren't meant to sacrifice your dreams on the altar of other people's comfort. You aren't responsible for managing everyone else's feelings while neglecting your own.

People-pleasing isn't kindness—it's fear dressed up as generosity. And that fear is stealing your life, your relationships, and your self-respect.

The people who truly love you want the real you, boundaries and all. The ones who only want the people-pleasing version? Those relationships were built on a foundation that was never sustainable anyway.

Stop Letting Fear Make Your Decisions

Your people-pleasing part is probably already panicking:

"What if people get upset when I change?" — The right people will respect your boundaries. The wrong people will reveal themselves.
"I don't have 4 hours to spend on myself..." — You're spending YEARS of your life managing everyone else's emotions. You can invest 4 hours in your freedom.
"What if I become selfish?" — There's a massive difference between being selfish and having a self. You'll learn that difference.
"I should be able to figure this out on my own..." — If willpower worked for people-pleasing, you'd have fixed it already. This requires deeper healing.

The cost of staying trapped in people-pleasing:

  • Your dreams deferred indefinitely
  • Your authentic self buried under everyone else's expectations
  • Your relationships built on performance rather than genuine connection
  • Your physical and mental health deteriorating from chronic stress and resentment

The investment in your freedom: $450

Which cost can you really afford?

  • Founder & Executive Director, Onyx Trauma Healing Center

A Visionary Leader in Trauma Healing

Kelly Baker is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #118442), trauma expert, and the visionary founder of Onyx Trauma Healing Center. With over two decades of experience in behavioral health and social services, Kelly has dedicated her career to creating accessible, culturally sensitive healing spaces for Black, Indigenous, people of color, LGBTQ+ community members, and trauma survivors.

My Why: Creating Access Where None Existed

As a mother and mental health professional in Hanford, I experienced firsthand the barriers to accessing quality trauma-informed care. When my own children needed services, I found myself driving to Fresno, taking time off work, and pulling my kids out of school because local options were limited, had extensive waitlists, or weren't culturally sensitive to our needs. I realized that my frustrations were shared by countless other mothers, friends, and family members in our community.

This experience ignited my passion to create something different—a healing space right here in Hanford that offers trauma-specific modalities like EMDR, Brainspotting, and Trauma-Informed Yoga during non-traditional hours and in settings that feel safe and welcoming. I founded Onyx Trauma Healing Center with the conviction that "Whatever It Takes, Client Driven and Client Specific" should be more than just words—it should be the foundation of how we serve our community.

My Approach: Body-Based Healing & Cultural Humility

I believe that healing happens in the body. Traditional talk therapy, while valuable, often doesn't address the ways trauma lives in our nervous systems and physical selves. That's why I integrate somatic modalities—approaches that honor the wisdom of the body—into all my work.

    My therapeutic approach is:

    • Directive and Solution-Focused: I provide practical tools and real solutions, not just conversation
    • Culturally Responsive: I understand the unique strengths and challenges within BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities
    • Somatic and Embodied: We work with the body's natural healing capacity
    • Trauma-Informed: Every interaction is grounded in safety, choice, and empowerment

    Core Modalities I Use:

    • Internal Family Systems (IFS) for healing parts and accessing Self-leadership
    • Brainspotting for processing trauma stored in the nervous system
    • Ketamine Assisted Therapy for treatment-resistant depression and complex trauma
    • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples seeking deeper connection
    • Trauma-Informed Yoga for embodied healing and nervous system regulation

    Beyond the Office: Dual Leadership

In addition to founding Onyx Trauma Healing Center, I serve as the Executive Director of ExpresArte Cultural Wellness Collective, a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing our own wellness professionals and expanding access to culturally responsive healing modalities.

Through this dual leadership, I'm working toward my most audacious goal: transforming how our communities access and experience mental health care. I envision a future where trauma-informed, culturally responsive healing is available to everyone who needs it, delivered by professionals who understand the communities they serve.

    My Personal Philosophy

My life philosophy is grounded in Proverbs 27:17: "Iron Sharpens Iron, as a Sister Sharpens Another Sister." I believe that when we heal individually, we strengthen our entire community. When women are well, when people of color have access to healing, when LGBTQ+ individuals feel safe and affirmed—society as a whole becomes healthier.

I'm passionate about social justice, creating access to healing for all body sizes and shapes, and the transformative power of mindful movement. As a mother of four amazing children, I understand the challenges of balancing personal wellness with the demands of family and professional life.

    Personal Interests & Values

When I'm not in the therapy room or leading my organizations, you'll find me:

    • Hiking and camping with my family
    • Practicing yoga and meditation
    • Reading a good book (especially those that expand my understanding of healing and justice)
    • Advocating for accessible wellness practices for all communities

    Recognition & Community Impact

I'm recognized as a trauma expert in our community, and organizations regularly seek me out for collaboration and partnership. This recognition reflects not just my clinical expertise, but my commitment to building bridges between mental health services and the communities that need them most.

    My Invitation to You

Whether you're seeking individual healing, couples therapy, or considering one of our intensive programs or retreats, I want you to know that you're not just choosing a therapist—you're joining a community committed to your complete healing and empowerment.

I believe in your capacity to heal, grow, and thrive. I'm honored to walk alongside you on this journey, bringing all of my training, experience, and cultural humility to support your unique path to wellness.

"When People Are Well, Society is Well!" - This isn't just my motto; it's my lived commitment to every person who trusts me with their healing journey.
